  • Give me a break, just what source was used to publish this fact?

  • Wow, I never knew that Christ's compassion depended so heavily on chance. Maybe instead of Prince of Peace, we should refer to him as Prince of Probability?

    Morons.

  • This website should be called
    fictionopolis.
    Jesus did no such thing.

  • I lol'd irl.

No, seriously. Fact or fiction, I've laughed a lot at some of this stuff tonight. Grain of salt, people, this is the internet afterall. Believing everything you read on it just because it's there in big letters with 'Fact' beside it is.. well, I got nothin'. It's stupid.

Then again, someone once said something about not underestimating the human capacity for stupidity, I believe.. I tend to agree.

  • seriously, how much of a joke is this? If you know about just the smallest of one thing that Jesus did, than you know that this is total B*** S***. I mean, this is close to the da vinci code is terms of stupidness!!!

  • This fact is a joke! No way anyone can know if this really happened. If it truly did there would be no record of it because this is something the catholic church would make sure had never gotton out. In the old day saying anything like this would get you killed. This is a funny fact if you think about it but it's not true. This website has lost all credibility in my eyes unless they can prove where they got this info.

  • LOL!!!

    That's a good one.

We'd love to see any documentation of hsi existence outside of the 'biblical' texts.

  • i love how all the religious facts get tons of bible thumpers response lol

  • Well, I checked the "reference" nothing supportive of this fact. Too bad cause I was looking to sign up for a fact of the day but I was hoping it to be somewhat trustworthy. At least have a valid reference for me to form my own opinion. Obviously this is the wrong site.

  • Well we come to this site for FACTS not jokes, so why wouldn't anyone say anything when they know something is not a fact? It just happens to be that only the Bible thumpers know this isn't a fact, according to the documentation we have on Christ.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at August 27, 2009 5:07 PM

  • You know the bible isn't a fact either. . . Just adding fuel to fire!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at August 28, 2009 10:21 PM

  • Who cares if the bible is factual or not? It doesn't matter whether Jesus was a real person. We only have to ask ourselves one question. IF Jesus was real, and IF he was the kind of guy described in the bible, do we think he would have used a random act of chance when deciding whether to dole out his healing power. It just seems out of character for JC. But since so little actual documentation exists regarding Jesus WHEN HE WAS SUPPOSEDLY ALIVE, I guess we'll never know.

I still think you made this up. But that's nothing new for you.

  • Even IF Jesus did do this, and thats presuming he even existed, seeing as he has the power to heal someone shouldn't we also safely assume he has the power to control what side a coin lands on?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at September 07, 2009 6:25 PM

  • BULL SHIT!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at September 17, 2009 5:49 PM

  • A) If anyone really cares and wants to "fix" this, why don't you stop bitching here and get in touch with christiananswers.net's legal department (yes, click this) and tell them that their site is being referenced for something that a) can't be proven to be ON their site and b) that you disagree with. If it really pisses you off that bad, you CAN do something about it if you WILL...

    B) Where are the FACTS that Jesus was real - aside from the texts that have been recorded? And how many of them are allowed to be in the Bible? Less than 40% of written texts about the era, the people, and the stories, are actually included in the Bible, and that's of what's been found.

Yet, so many still believe (oddly enough, including me) in Christ and his miracles...

    C) Like someone else said: if Christ had all the power he is credited with, why could he also control what side the coin landed on? He did, after all, multiply bread and fish and turn water into wine.

Get over it - I hate that people get so pissed off about things like this, as if they have ANY concrete proof of their own beliefs...

  • Made up event about a made up person.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at September 30, 2009 2:55 PM

  • I think that if you believe the mythology contained in religion, this is nothing to you. If your beloved preacher told you these 'facts' behind his podium on sunday, you would believe it- no questions asked. shut the fuck up.

  • For everyone claiming this is a hoax with no proof: prove it.
