The "invention" of the unicycle is such a common myth in itself. Everyone (at least those of us who study nonholonomic
systems) understands that the unicycle was a natural evolutionary progression from the common bicycle. Would one say that the horse was "invented?" Of course not!

Of course you would say the unicycle was an invention. It's like trying to argue that cell phones evolved out of regular phones. Sure, you could call it a natural progression, but someone had to come up with the idea. These things don't evolve on their own and that's what makes them, "inventions." What was the horse a "natural evolutionary progression" of? That's not even an arguement. It's more like nonsense.

Guys, guys, settle down! Whether the unicycle was "invented" or "evolved" isn't important. As a fellow unicycle enthusiast, I think we can all agree that the unicycle is just plain fun! How it got here is not my concern. I just thank the good lord every day that he let it happen. Happy riding!
Hugs!

Wow. You compared a unicycle, an invention, to a horse, a living creature. That really helps your argument.
