according to TransWeb.org the kidneys last longer than any other organ when outside the body for transplant.

It's the kidneys, not the lungs. The kidneys can go up to 3 days before being transplanted...the lungs NOT. Who writes these facts? The lungs are transplanted within about 5 hours tops! They are Flown! not the kidneys.
